The nearest school and grocery shop are approx. 0.9 km away, and the bus stop at Jupitervegen approx. 0.5 km.

Here you can enjoy country living, with the farmland and farm buildings gathered around the farmyard, while everything a family needs day to day is close at hand. It is approx. 8 km to Årnes, 12 km to Jessheim and 47 km to Oslo.

The property totals approx. 146.1 daa, of which approx. 138.6 daa is fully cultivated land, the remainder being mainly farmyard, buildings and other land. The farmland lies in a single parcel wrapped around the farmyard. It is flat to gently sloping and well laid out, keeping distances between fields, yard and farm buildings short.

The soil is classified as good quality and is currently used for cereals, potatoes, grass and ready-made turf. The farmland is let out. The drainage is of older date but is reported to be in satisfactory condition, and there is no known occurrence of wild oats or barnyard grass on the property.

The farmyard comprises a farmhouse, barn, implement shed and garage. The farmhouse was built in 1938 and extended in 1986, with 147 m² of internal usable area over two floors plus a cellar. It includes a kitchen, sitting room, study, bathroom, utility room and three bedrooms, and the sitting room opens onto a south- and west-facing terrace of approx. 48 m².

The barn was built in 1938 and extended in 1966. It totals approx. 650 m² gross, comprising approx. 440 m² on the main floor, 110 m² in the basement and 100 m² of barn bridge. It has large drive-through doors and floors that take farm machinery. The former cowshed is used for storage, and parts of the building are let.

The implement shed was built in 2008, with a drive-on concrete floor, several doors, an implement store and two workshop rooms. The garage has space for three cars and measures approx. 65 m² gross. Together the buildings provide substantial space for machinery, vehicles, storage and other farm-related uses.

Several parts of the farm buildings and outdoor areas are let, including storage in the barn, parking for cars and lorries, a workshop, part of the cart shed and containers used as cold storage – providing a steady rental income.

All in all, Øymo is a highly efficient farm, with approx. 95% of its total area fully cultivated. The single parcel, short working distances, drive-in farm buildings and location close to Neskollen, Årnes and Jessheim make it an excellent basis for continued farming, letting the land, or using the buildings for storage and workshops.

Access is from Hvamsmovegen via Nesfeltet. The drive from Oslo takes just under 40 minutes, and Oslo Airport Gardermoen is approx. 22 minutes away.
